Public input sought by Citizen Advisory Recovery Team

If you have advice on how to rebuild Joplin and Duquesne you can provide your input in a meeting hosted by the Citizen Advisory Recovery Team.

They urge the public to attend and give feedback.

The meetings are Tuesday in Memorial Middle School’s gym at 310 West 8th Street in Joplin.  The first meeting starts at 1 p.m. and the second meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.

Each session will start with a presentation on recovery plans.

The Citizen Advisory Recovery Team says citizen input will be used in every step of the rebuilding process.

“We will correlate all those comments together – see how they may be intertwined with one another then we will be coming back with subsequent meetings will all the citizenry again to where we’ll have a list and now we say now will you come and prioritize all of this for us,” says Clifford Wert of Citizen Advisory Recovery Team.
